Boman Irani has led an interesting life to say the least and there’s more to him than meets the eye. He sold potato chips and now he is an established actor.

Date of Birth: 2 December 1959

Biography:

Boman Irani was born into a Parsi family. He is a graduate of Mithibai College in Mumbai. After his Polytechnic Diploma Course, he joined the Taj Mahal Palace & Tower and worked there as a waiter & room service staff.

He started out selling potato chips. Before long, photography appealed to him and then later it was the call of theater. He has worked with Alyque Padamsee in the play Roshni and in Mahatma Vs Mahatma by Feroz Abbas Khan.

It was with Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. that Boman Irani became really popular.Since then Boman has essayed many comedic, (Main Hoon Na, Lage Raho Munna Bhai, Dostana, Khosla Ka Ghosla, Waqt: The Race Against Time, No Entry, 3 Idiots), supporting (Veer-Zaara, Maine Gandhi ko Nahin Mara, Lakshya, Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd., Sorry Bhai!, Page 3, My Wife's Murder), and negative roles in (Don - The Chase Begins Again and Eklavya).

Boman Irani also hosted the IIFA Awards together with actor Ritesh Deshmukh in 2008 and 2009, and 2011 in Toronto.

Personal Life:

He is married to Zenobia and has two sons called Danesh and Kayur.
